
London Futures Cup
28-29 March 2026
London Youth Track League is excited to announce a new junior focused track event, the London Futures Cup, to be held at London’s iconic Lee Valley VeloPark at the end of March. Registered on the UCI International calendar, the event will feature 5 Junior events for men and women over two days, with supporting youth racing on the Saturday and an Elite Men’s Omnium on the Sunday.

Saturday 28th March (12pm-7pm)
Junior Men: Sprint, Scratch, Elimination
Junior Women: Keirin, Scratch, Elimination
Youth (U17) Boys: Scratch, Elimination, Points
Youth (U17) Girls: Scratch, Elimination, Points
Sunday 29th March (8am-4pm)
Junior Men: Keirin, Omnium
Junior Women: Sprint, Omnium
Elite Men: Omnium
Both the sprint and keirin events will include additional minor finals / repechages to ensure all riders get at least three rides in each event (including sprint qualifying).
Additional training sessions may be possible on the afternoon of Friday 27th March; please contact us if you would be interested in this.
Entries
Entries for the Junior event will be prioritised for riders entered by their national or regional federation, but entries from teams and individual riders are also welcomed. For the Elite Men and Youth events, entry will be first come first served.
All events have a maximum field size of 24 riders.
The registration fee shall be £20gbp / €25eur per rider per day, payable in advance to the organisation.

About London Youth Track League
London Youth Track League (LYTL) was formed in 2015 to provide high quality track racing for youth riders across London and the South of England. Housed in London’s iconic Lee Valley Olympic Velodrome, the league has seen many of its riders go on to race at the highest level, with multiple World, European and National titles and medallists amongst them! We look forward to hosting the first edition of this event and provide a new opportunity for Junior riders to compete and develop on their journey to the world stage.

Lee Valley Velodrome is easily accessible by both road and public transport from major ports and airports:

Dover (Ferries from Calais / Dunkerque) – 80 miles / 2 hours

Folkestone (Eurotunnel / Le Shuttle to Calais) – 70 miles / 1hour 45 minutes

Heathrow Airport – frequent direct trains to Stratford – 45 minutes

Stansted Airport – direct coach service to Stratford, or Stansted Express Trains to Stratford (Change at Tottenham Hale) – 1 hour

Luton or Gatwick Airports – trains to Stratford, change at London Farringdon – 1 hour 15 minutes.
Equipment
A limited supply of rollers will be available for use to riders travelling who are unable to bring their own. Pumps/compressors and basic tools will be available. We are unable to supply bicycles or components to riders.
For the youth racing all riders will be subject to a gear restriction of 7.18 meters.
Team Manager’s Meeting / Confirmation of Starters
Subject to confirmation, we will hold this at 11am on Saturday 28th March, at the velodrome. We will aim to confirm starters beforehand to allow sprint/keirin qualifying heats to be published in advance to assist preparation. As a reminder all Junior riders will need to present a passport / government ID to confirm their age in line with UCI regulations.
